Six Belleville restaurants will compete to see which can cook up the best lip smacking, and lip numbing, food today.
Belleville city councillor Mitch Panciuk has organized the 2d annual Best Spicy Food Competition and it goes at one o’clock at Royal Haveli Flavours of India at 366 North Front Street.
Competing this year will be Birdy’s Fine Dining, Boston Pizza, Burger Revolution, Chilangos Mexican Restaurant, Royal Haveli Flavours of India and Slap Shot Bar and Grill.
The winner of the competition last year was Chilangos.
Our own Lorne Brooker will be among the people judging the spicy dishes.
