A Prince Edward County man has been charged following an altercation last night.
Around 8:30 last night, Prince Edward OPP officers were called to County Road #4 to investigate the scene.
As a result of the investigation, 19 year old Elijah Douglas Mayhew of Hallowell Ward has been charged with two counts of assault, mischief under $5000 and resisting a Peace Officer
Mayhew was released with a promise to appear in Picton Court July 19.
