It was yet another gray and wet day yesterday (Tuesday), and we received a fair bit of rain, but not quite enough to set a new rainfall record in the Quinte region for a June 6.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton, 14.4 millimetres of rain fell yesterday.
That amount was just short of the record rain which occurred on June 6 of 2013, when 15.2 mm fell.
Thankfully sunshine will prevail today (Wednesday), Belleville Kiwanis Chicken BBQ day.
