It’s now official. After 6 seasons Jerome Dupont is leaving the Trenton Golden Hawks as coach and general manager. Director of Operations John McDonald.
Trenton finished first in their division in five of Dupont’s 6 seasons winning an OJHL title and two Dudley-Hewitt Cups. McDonald says the search for a new coach and g.m. is already underway.
In the meantime it will be business as usual with assistant G.M. Frank Robinson handling transactions. The Golden Hawks expect to announce a number of player acquisitions later today.
Reports suggest Dupont could end up with the University of Toronto Varsity Blues.
