Officials with Quinte Health Care are continuing the lengthy process of selecting a location for the proposed new hospital in The County.
At Tuesday’s board meeting in Bancroft, officials discussed the two sites before them, the current land the hospital is on, and the land adjacent to the H.J. McFarland Home.
Throughout May, over 450 different stakeholders and community members gave their thoughts through open houses, surveys and focus groups.

Site access, environmental impact, water drainage, along with mechanical and electrical capacity are all being looked at during the site selection process.
The recommendation will be made to the Ministry of Health by mid June.
