Details are vague, but the OPP Professional Standards Bureau has charged an Eastern Ontario OPP officer with two counts of sexual assault and one count of criminal harassment.
The male officer is 39-years-old and is a 16 year veteran of the OPP.
The incidents occurred while off duty.
OPP will not release the officer’s name or court location to protect the victim’s identity.
The constable has been suspended from duty with pay.
