The always thorny issue of downtown parking will be in front of Prince Edward County council tomorrow night (Tuesday).
A staff report recommends replacing the single parking space meters in Picton with pay stations similar to those now in use in the downtowns of Trenton and Belleville.
The rate for most downtown Picton spaces will be one dollar an hour.
Meanwhile, many members of the Picton Business Improvement Area would like to see 2 hour free parking.
Prince Edward County council meets tomorrow evening at 7 o’clock at Shire Hall.
