The Brooks Alberta Bandits gave the Trenton Golden Hawks a first hand look at why they are the number one ranked Junior “A” Hockey team in Canada.
Eight different players scored and 15 picked up points as Brooks handed Trenton an 8-0 beating at the RBC Cup in Cobourg. Brooks led 1-0 after the first then scored early in the second. Golden Hawks forward Jeremy Pullara says that goal was the killer.
Despite the lopsided score, Trenton forward Jordan Chard says they have to treat it like any other loss.
Trenton is 0-3 but still have a shot at the semi finals when they play their final round robin game this afternoon against Penticton B.C. There is no broadcast of the game however we will have updates from Cobourg on the Freddy Vette Show on CJBQ.
In last night’s game, the Cobourg Cougars trounced Terrebonne Quebec 6-1.
