An all OJHL matchup didn’t quite work out in the Trenton Golden Hawks favour at the RBC Cup national championship last night.
The G-Hawks fell 3-2 in overtime to the host Cobourg Cougars on former Quinte Red Devil Josh Maguire’s tally 3:54 into the extra frame.
Anthony Sorrentino and Jeremy Pullara notched Trenton’s goals. Pullara says his team has room for improvement in the effort level.
Goaltender Chris Janzen stopped 36 of 39 shots in the losing cause.
