A former NHL player is to appear in court next week after being charged with impaired driving.
Police say 59-year-old Tony McKegney of Kingston was arrested on April 30th on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
He’s been released from custody, and is to appear in court in Belleville on May 18th.
McKegney played for teams including the Buffalo Sabres, Quebec Nordiques and Detroit Red Wings during his 13 seasons in the NHL.
