A couple of Stirling-Rawdon residents are campaigning for a seniors’ residence in the municipality.
Ron Denyes and former councillor Wilfred Shier appeared before Stirling-Rawdon council this week to present the case for such a residence.
Shier says the town has had a water and sewer system in place for a couple of years.

Shier pointed out that Madoc, Marmora and Tweed all have seniors’ housing and so should Stirling-Rawdon.
