The Quinte region saw May start the way April finished, wet.
According to the CFB Trenton Weather Office, May 1st (to 10:00 p.m.) received 52.4 mm, more than tripling the 1953 record of 17.3 (64 years).
Between April 30th and May 1st, 69.5 mm fell, almost three inches.
There were numerous reports of flooding throughout Quinte, including on local roadways.
Also rivers, lakes and other watersheds worked double time to try and keep up.
There were also several reports of flooding on the 401 near the Glen Miller Road exit in Trenton.
High water levels are expected to continue through the week.
