Mother nature slammed a long rainfall on the Quinte region overnight.
Not only did we have rain, but winds, cold temperatures and even some thunder and lightning.
You may be dealing with some localized flooding either on your property, or low lying roads this morning.
Local watersheds may spill their banks in some areas too.
The 1953 rainfall record for May 1st was 17.3 millimetres.
By day’s end we will almost certainly push past that.
