Local Reggae artist, Jah Pickney was recently awarded the Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Award for International Caribbean Album of the Year for his latest album entitled, Regenerated.
Tim (Jah Pickney) traveled, along with his wife, Marie-Eve and infant daughter Valerie, to Nassau Bahamas to perform at Marlin Fest 2017 on February 24th and to attend and perform at the Gala Ceremony for the 2017 Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards on February 25th.
Jah Pickney received two nominations in the 2017 Marlin Awards and proudly represented Canada bringing home the award for his album which was completely produced in his own recording studio, Bashment Sound Recording Studios, in Belleville.
This is the second Marlin Award for Jah Pickney as he also won in 2006 for his song Heaven, from the album Ghetto Redemption.
