Too little, too late. That’s the way Trenton Golden Hawks Coach and General Manager Jerome Dupont described last night’s 3-2 loss to Georgetown in game 3 of the OJHL championship series.
Trenton didn’t find their offence until the third period, by which time they trailed 2-0. Anthony Sorrentino scored with the extra attacker. He echoed the sentiments of his coach.
Liam Morgan had the other Trenton goal. Jack Hughes, Jonathan Hampton and Jacob Payette scored for Georgetown
The Raiders held 40-35 advantage in shots on goal. Chris Janzen returned to the Golden Hawks net after missing game 2 with an injury.
Georgetown leads the series 2-1. Game 4 is tomorrow night (Thurs) at the Dunc McDonald Community Gardens at 7:30.
