Prince Edward OPP were busy over the Easter long weekend responding to 105 calls for service from Thursday to Tuesday morning.
According to police over 70 charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act.
On Sunday night, OPP were called to a residence on Main Street in Wellington in response to a neighbour dispute. Following an investigation police charged 29-year-old Shane Corbin of Wellington with assault with a weapon and mischief under $5,000. He has a court date of May 31.
Earlier in the day Sunday, OPP were called to The Hamlet Variety Store in Consecon, in response to a theft call. An investigation revealed a 21-year-old Quinte West man had taken $60 worth of liquor from the store. Jordan James Cross was charged with theft under $5,000 and failing to comply with a recognizance. He has a May 3rd court date.
