A routine traffic stop led to the seizure of drugs in Belleville last night.
At 9:30 p.m., a Belleville police officer stopped a car on Bridge Street West, and discovered that the operator of the vehicle was prohibited from driving by the courts. They found heroin and marijuana in the car during an ensuing search.
31-year-old Drew David Stone of Belleville was charged with driving while prohibited, and possession of heroin and marijuana.
He is expected to appear in court May 18.
