Norwood teen charged with sexual assault
A Norwood teenager has been charged with sexual assault by Peterborough County OPP.
Investigators have laid four counts of sexual assault charges against a 17 year-old boy, following incidents against two girls at Norwood District Secondary School.
Details of the incidents were not released, nor were any of the names.
He has a court date in Peterborough on May 15.
String of break-ins in Prince Edward County
Provincial Police are looking into a string of break and enters in Prince Edward County.
According to investigators, all four incidents happened in the Northport area, between March 17 and March 22, with two happening on County Road 15, one on Potter Road and another on Norton Road in Sophiasburg Ward.
Police also say one of the break-ins involved the theft of a red minivan, which was recovered on Big Island, but had been damaged while it was missing.
The suspects are believed to be two men around 30-years-old and could also be involved in other incidents locally.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone who might have information on the break-ins or theft can call Prince Edward OPP, or Crimestoppers.
