Northumberland OPP say the man who died after a crash in Cramahe Township this morning was found in the woods, near the crash scene.
Officers responded to the single vehicle crash on County Road 21, near Shiloh Road, at about 5:45 this morning and found a black Chevrolet Cobalt involved in the crash and the man in the woods nearby.
OPP Constable Steve Bates says since there were two locations involved in the incident, both the Technical Traffic Collision Team and the Crime Unit were called in and are continuing the investigation.
Bates says there’s no risk to public safety and the investigation is ongoing, but exact details of what happened and information on the driver weren’t released.
County Road 21 was closed for five hours while investigators were at the scene.
