There are many decisions to be made and much money to be raised, but a group of people in Stirling-Rawdon would like to build a splash pad in town.
The group approached council this week, describing a splash pad that would cost between $250,000. and $350,000.
They suggested council pay half of the total. Council made no commitment, suggesting the group get started by talking with the municipal parks and recreation department.
Possible locations include 2 municipal properties, one near the old train station and the other in the Henry Street park.
