Elliot Gerth has not played a lot this season but the Trenton net is his for the next two games.
The Golden Hawks are in Cobourg for game 2 of the North-East Conference championship tonight but they won’t have the services of star goaltender Chris Janzen. He is serving the first of a 2 game suspension. Gerth appeared in 5 games for the Golden Hawks posting a 3.12 goals against average with an .880 save percentage. Coach and General Manager Jerome Dupont says Trenton won’t change the way they approach to the game.
The Golden Hawks have called up Ethan Langevin from the Minor Midget Whitby Wildcats to be the backup. Langevin recently competed in the OHL Cup and the OHL Combine. Dupont says he’s ready if needed.
CJBQ will have the call for Eastern Overhead Doors beginning at 6:50. Game 3 is tomorrow in Trenton.
