The 401 was slow going during the early morning Friday in Belleville.
During the 6:00 a.m. hour, crews were called to the eastbound lanes, between the Wallbridge Loyalist Road on ramp and the Sidney Street overpass, after the truck, with two trailers on it caught fire.
The one trailer and the truck were not damaged, however one, was heavily damaged.
One lane of the highway was closed, while the flames were extinguished.
