The volunteer President of the local Canadian Cancer Society appeared at Belleville city council this week to remind the public that Daffodil Month is just around the corner.
April is Daffodil Month, a major fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society.
President for Hastings-Prince Edward and Brighton Cancer society, Karen White, says one of the things the money supports is Wheels for Hope, a transportation program for Cancer patients.
The donated money is also used to support research at Kingston and Belleville.
