Community Living Ontario supports the right of its unionized employees to strike, but the organization does not like the way some of its striking employees in east Northumberland County are going about it.
In a press release, Community Living Ontario says some members of OPSEU Local 316 have been picketing outside of homes where the intellectually disabled people they work with live.
Community Living Ontario says that is morally wrong.
Close to 100 employees working for Community Living Campbellford/Brighton began a strike earlier this week.
