A brand new golf tournament is coming to the Quinte region, one that will bring some of the best golfers around Ontario.
Wednesday afternoon at Slapshot Bar and Grill, organizers launched the JT Pro Am Classic, going to Trillium Wood Golf Course on June 26th. There is room for 24 teams, with 20 already booked.
Proceeds of the tourney will go to support Big Brothers Big Sisters Hastings Prince Edward.
Mike Letwin is with the board for BBBS HPE. He says it is great to be chosen.
Jim Kenesky is an owner with the Great Lakes Tour. He says Belleville, Trillium Wood and this tourney were a perfect fit with their other Ontario events.
Each teams of amateurs will be paired with a pro.
