The Trenton Golden Hawks are one win away from a 3rd straight trip to the OJHL North-East Conference final.
Anthony Sorrentino scored a goal and 3 assists, Jordan Chard added a pair and Chris Janzen posted his third playoff shutout as Trenton trounced Stouffville 7-0. Janzen turned aside 22 shots and has allowed just one goal in the series.
G-Hawks Coach and G.M. Jerome Dupont says it was a complete effort.
Newcomer Max Ewart scored his first goal while playing in his second game with Trenton.
Ewart joined the Golden Hawks from the Jr. “B” Strathroy Rockets.
Trenton leads the series 3-0. Game 4 is in Stouffville tomorrow night. CJBQ will be there to call it.
In the other semi final, the Wellington Dukes are in Cobourg for game 3 tonight. The Cougars hold a 2-0 lead in that one.
