Belleville’s Cassidy Vinkle and the Clarkson Golden Knights have won the NCAA National Women’s Hockey championship. Clarkson defeated Wisconsin 3-0 in the final of the “Frozen 4” championship in St. Charles Missouri.
The 19 year old Vinkle is in her second season at Clarkson where she is doing a majors in business. She’s a graduate of St. Theresa Secondary School and the Belleville Bearcats Minor Hockey Association.
