Centennial Secondary School graduate Mario Gibbs finished 5th in the Canadian Powerlifting and Bench Press competition in Saguenay, Quebec this weekend.
Gibbs’s totals included a deadlift of 282.5 kilos or 621.5 pounds. He bench pressed 341 pounds with a squat of 572 pounds.
Gibbs competed in the Men’s Under 23 division.
