A courtroom at the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse resembled a WWE wrestling ring Friday morning.
A man accused of criminal harassment and threatening began loudly and profanely arguing with Justice Stephen Hunter from the prisoner’s box.
After yelling about committing suicide in jail, the accused, Robert Mills, jumped over the plexiglass barrier, did a somersault and landed heavily onto the floor.
Within seconds, police officers and others hustled the handcuffed man out of the courtroom.
Court resumed and Judge Hunter ordered Mills be held for a psychiatric assessment.
