Local swimmers were in Windsor this week for the Ontario High School Championships.
Nicholson Catholic College finished 29th out of 324 schools competing. Rafik Jiwa led the way winning gold in the 100 open fly and a silver in the 200 open individual medley.
Also finishing in the top ten in their events from Nicholson were Ryan and Isaac Jarvis and Jeremy Moyer as well as Maggie Heinzle from Bayside.
Nicholson’s 200 SR FR Relay team of Isaac and Ryan Jarvis, Jeremy Moyer and Nolan Kerr-Dini won a bronze medal.
More than 2000 swimmers and 400 relay teams took part in one of the largest championships in OFSAA history.
