What began as a best of 7 series is now a best of 3 for both the Trenton Golden Hawks and Wellington Dukes.
Josh Allan scored at 4:42 of the second overtime to lift the G-Hawks over the Hurricanes 3-2.
Dawson Baker and Brandon Marinelli had the other Trenton goals.
All 4 games in the series have been decided by one goal and all 4 have been won by the visitors.
The Golden Hawks try to turn that around as they’re home for game 5 tonight at 7:30 at the “Dunc”.
The Wellington Dukes jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead which seemed to wake up Whitby. The Fury roared back for a 5-2 win to even their series at 2.
Mitch Martan and Evan Foley scored for the Dukes who now hit the road for game 5 tonight. CJBQ has the play by play from Whitby at 7:50 for Prinzen Ford Sales of Bloomfield.
The Napanee Raiders are in a must win situation in game 4 of their Provincial Junior “C” Tod Division championships series tonight in Port Hope. The Panthers lead it 3-0.
