The management of the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation is all smiles as its latest facility, Shorelines Casino Belleville, is doing great business.
No one would be surprised to hear that the shiny new casino on Belleville’s Bell Boulevard was jam packed for the first two or three weeks, but Great Gaming Corporations Andy LaCroix said business has remained very strong in subsequent weeks.
In the first two months, over 140,000 people have visited the casino, with more than 40,000 enjoying a meal in the restaurant.
After doing a little math, it seems the casino averages close to 2,500 visitors a day.
LaCroix says business is stronger than they anticipated in Belleville because of beefed up promotions in Gananoque and Kawartha Downs. He added those gaming operations have not been hurt by the Belleville opening.
