Stirling-Rawdon council again has its hands full as it continues to work on its 2017 budget.
As it sits, the proposed budget would feature a 12% increase on the local tax rate, which is seen
as unacceptable.
To bring that tax rate increase down to 2%, around $400,000 would have to be cut out of the draft budget.
Last year, council brought in a 2.5% tax rate increase.
Budget meetings continue.
