The Wellington Dukes came out with a 3-2 victory over Whitby last night in a nail biter.
Brody Morris and Brayden Stortz scored in regular play, with Colin Doyle getting the overtime goal to win it for the Dukes.
Whitby was the favorite in the series, but Wellington is currently leading two games to none.
Game 3 goes Tuesday night in Whitby.
The Trenton Golden Hawks were on the losing side last night as they fell 3-2 to Newmarket in game one.
This was an unexpected loss for Trenton as they were the favorites in this series.
