It has been a windy night in our region, and gusty winds caused problems along a country road in Quinte West.
Around 10 o’clock the wind toppled a tree onto power lines on Bruyea Road, northwest of Wooler.
Firefighters from the north Murray hall, along with Public Works and Hydro One crews responded.
The road had to be closed for a couple of hours while repairs were made.
