Another honour for Belleville’s Hanna Bunton and it’s a big one.
The star of the Cornell Big Red has been named the Ivy League’s Women’s Hockey Player of the Year. That goes nicely with the Rookie of the Year honour she received in 2014 and the Belleville Athlete of the Year award earned in 2013.
Bunton led Cornell in scoring with 26 points including 10 goals. The St. Theresa graduate has also played for Team Canada at various world hockey events.
