Mother nature has shattered the daily high temperature record for yesterday(Thursday).
The previous high temperature for a February 23rd was 11.6 degrees, set back in 1984.
But yesterday, as recorded at CFB Trenton, the mercury climbed to 15.2 degrees celsius.
The average high for the date is just above freezing at 0.4 degrees.
