It seems to be either feast or famine in the goal scoring department for the Trenton Golden Hawks.
Just 24 hours after scoring 8 goals in Newmarket, the GHawks could only muster one, falling 2-1 to the Oakville Blades.
Trenton will finish with the second best record in the OJHL, and guarantee themselves top spot in the Northeast Conference. That means they will have home ice for the first three rounds. Georgetown is the only team that would have home ice against Trenton.
Despite the fact they have two games remaining, Trenton meets the Newmarket Hurricanes in the first round. Last year the two teams also squared off in round one, with Trenton winning in four.
No dates on games have yet been made available.
They play the Markham Royals at home Friday night at 7:30 p.m (7:20 p.m on CJBQ), before finishing the season in Cobourg Saturday 8:00 p.m (7:50 p.m) on CJBQ
