A person was killed after being hit by a train late yesterday morning (Saturday) in west end Belleville.
A CP freight train hit a person just east of Wallbridge-Loyalist Road just after 11 o’clock.
Sources have indicated the victim was a young male.
Traffic was diverted around the scene for a few hours.
Police have not released any detail on the incident.
