Fast response from the Stirling Rawdon and Centre Hastings fire departments saved a barn from going
up in flames yesterday afternoon.
Fire broke out in a big farm shed on Ridge Road in the mid-afternoon.
Stirling-Rawdon firefighters responded, while Centre Hastings firefighters provided water tanker support.
Fire Chief Derrick Little says crews managed to save 2 tractors in part of the big shed and kept the flames from spreading to a nearby barn.
2 tractors and tools were destroyed.
The cause remains under investigation.
No one was injured.
