Residents of Brighton will have their last chance to give input on the proposed 2017 budget next week.
The final public input meeting will be held during the regular council session on Tuesday February 21st, as councillors continue the process to approve the financial plan.
CAO Bill Watson tells Quinte News a timeline for finalizing the budget depends on how that public meeting goes.
Watson says the goal right now is still to keep the tax increase just under 2%.
Tuesday night’s meeting begins at 6:30, at the municipal office, on Alice Street.
