A major shakeup has taken place at the Brighton Health Services Centre.
The municipality has announced they will be taking over ownership of the building housing the very first Family
Health Team in Ontario.
Brighton Mayor Mark Walas says the facility has changed hands a few times.
Walas says the board felt it was time for a change.
Walas says the decision will offer long term stability for physicians and patients of the centre.
The site on Main Street was purchased for $430,000.
There are four doctors currently serving at the centre on the Family Health Team.
