Despite a 1 hour delay, the Wellington Dukes were ready to go yesterday. A 4 goal first period led to a season high 9 as they creamed the Lindsay Muskies 9-1. Rory Milne scored a goal with 4 assists. The Dukes are getting more secondary scoring lately but Milne says little has changed.
The Dukes have won 5 of their last 6 and Coach and General Manager Marty Abrams says the teams’ recent depth in offence is a big reason for it.
Colin Doyle and Mitchell Mendonca scored twice. Wellington outscored Lindsay 29-7 in 4 meetings this year.
The Dukes host Pickering on Friday.
