A quick response from Quinte West Firefighters saved a house from going up in flames in north Murray ward yesterday morning.
Quinte West fire station number six responded around 10:30 to a chimney fire at 455, the Ninth Concession of Murray.

Chief Whelan says there was $70,000 worth of damages in the fire.
No injuries were reported.
