Disturbances
Belleville, Ontario – On February 11th, 2017, at 12:22 a.m. officers attended on Benjamin St. in relation to a disturbance. A 26-year-old Belleville man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for domestic assault and assault with a weapon. He was held for a bail hearing on February 11th, 2017.
On February 11th, 2017, at 1:10 a.m. officers attended a disturbance at a downtown tavern. A 21-year-old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. While in the bar, an officer recognized a Belleville man who had been released in December on drug trafficking charges. One of his conditions was to obey a curfew in his residence every night. The 20-year-old man was arrested and held for a bail hearing on a charge of breach of a recognizance.
On February 11th, 2017, at 3:30 a.m. officers attended on Albion Street in relation to a domestic disturbance. A 36-year-old Quinte West man was arrested at the scene and held for a bail hearing. His charges include Domestic Assault and breach of probation. The victim suffered minor injuries.
On February 11th, 2017, at 4:35 a.m. officers attended at a residence on Victoria Avenue in relation to a disturbance. A 39-year-old Belleville man was arrested for breach of the peace. No one was injured in this incident.
