A Prince Edward County man has pleaded guilty and will be sentenced next month for his role in the theft of several guns from a home on Big Island.
In 2016, a joint police investigation led officers to two residences on the Tyendinaga Territory where four stolen long guns were seized.
On Wednesday, 47-year-old Richard Caird pleaded guilty in Picton court to possession of property obtained by crime, unlawfully in a dwelling, and criminal harassment.
Forty-two-year-old Tyson Chernuck and 30-year-old Evan Piirainen both from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory were also charged in the incident.
They are to appear in court in February.
Caird will be sentenced on March 8.
