A 44 year old man from Thomasburg, south of Tweed, faces several charges after a domestic dispute yesterday.
Belleville police arrested the man at a residence in the city’s north end around 8 o’clock yesterday morning.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The man was charged with assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, and two counts of breach of probation.
His name won’t be released to protect the victim’s identity.
