A Belleville man has been handed one year of probation after pleading guilty to assault in connection with a stabbing.
Thirty-four-year-old Richard Hogan was given credit for 160 days pretrial custody.
Hogan was one of two men arrested on October 19th after police were called downtown for reports of a group of men fighting with knives and a machete.
One man was treated in hospital for minor stab wounds.
