A local county act has received Canadian recognition for their nation wide success and musical work.
Brighton’s own Cold Creek County has been nominated for a 2017 Juno as Breakthrough Group of the Year.
On their Twitter feed, Brandon Scott, Doug Oliver, Trevor McLeod, Jordan Honsinger, Josh and Justin Lester say they are honoured to have received a nod.
They were nominated for two awards last year for the Canadian Country Music Awards.
The award ceremony is April 2nd at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa.
