Stirling-Rawdon Police have laid charges in connection to a crash in September of last year, which left a 23 year-old Campbellford man with lasting, debilitating injuries.
Chief Dario Cecchin says the victim was riding a motorcycle on Springbrook Road, around 10:30 p.m., when he tried to overtake a pick-up truck and trailer, which turned left in front of him causing the crash.
The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and taken to Campbellford Memorial Hospital, before being airlifted to Kingston.
Following a lengthy investigation, a 69 year-old Havelock man is charged with making an improper left turn and improper use of his mirrors.
He’ll be in provincial offenses court on February 27th.
